Each year during Baird Gives Back Week, our associates come together to donate our time and talents by volunteering in communities across our global footprint. These moments of service strengthen our commitment to bringing out our best in everything we do – for our clients, for each other, and for our communities.

We create strategies that are tailored to your needs and goals.
Food Lifeline
This year our associates packed 4,000 pounds of peppers and 3,000 pounds of rice to be distributed to partner agencies and fight against hunger in our communities.
2026 COMMUTE-FREE FRIDAY FUNDRAISING
Together we strengthen community! Each month, a local non-profit is nominated to be featured and supported by donations from our Seattle associates.
Donations are matched at 100% by the Baird Foundation.
January: Center for Whale Research
(CWR) has been the leading organization monitoring and studying Southern Resident killer whales in their critical habitat: the Pacific Northwest’s Salish Sea.
February: Homeward Pet
Their mission is to transform the lives of cats and dogs in need through compassionate medical care, positive behavior training, and successful adoption while building a more humane community.
March: FareStart
FareStart transforms lives, disrupts poverty and nourishes communities through food, life skills and job training.
April: Hope Creek Charitable Foundation
Hope Creek Charitable Foundation exists to address food insecurity and the ripple effects of poverty among families in Snohomish County.
Baird Gives Back 2025: Last year in May, our Seattle associates supported Compass Housing Alliance, Food Lifeline, the Seattle Animal Shelter and Shark Garden.
Serving people in need with affordable housing and emergency services.
During Baird Gives Back week, we made and delivered nearly 250 sandwiches to nearby shelters.
Feeding people experiencing hunger today while working to end hunger for tomorrow.
Seattle PWM associates volunteered in Food Lifeline's Georgetown warehouse sorting and packing nutritious food.
Saving the lives of thousands of animals each year
We made 75 tied-edge blankets to provide rescued pets warmth and comfort.
Cultivating sustainable food gardening and environmental stewardship.
In May, our also we got our hands dirty volunteering at the community Shark Garden.

Cristo Rey schools provide consistent, high-quality learning that accelerates growth and achievement to ensure college readiness for all students.
This grant will fund A top-quality, Jesuit, college-preparatory education including:
Experience in professional work settings
Opportunities to grow in their faith
Wrap-around counseling services
Affordable access to college
Support through college graduation

Volunteers providing mentoring and one-on-one tutoring in math and reading for 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students in Seattle Public Schools since 1997.

Supporting social change to build and sustain safe, healthy affordable homes in King County.
August: West Seattle Food Bank
Providing thousands with support to receive food, clothing, access affordable housing and help with utilities.
September: United Way of King County
Partnering with Baird to support programs across our community.

Affordable housing for families who must relocate to Seattle
for long-term care at Seattle Children’s Hospital
May: REST
Expanding pathways to freedom, safety, and hope in order to end sex trafficking.
June: Entre Hermanos
Providing social, educational, and health support services to the LGBTQ Latinx community.
January: The Noah Center
Rescuing homeless pets, providing lifesaving care, medical treatment and spay and neuter services.
February: Books to Prisoners
Fostering a love of reading behind bars, encourage the pursuit of knowledge and self-empowerment, and break the cycle of recidivism.
March: Special Olympics Washington
Helping special needs athletes discover new strengths & abilities, find joy, confidence and fulfillment and inspring communities since 1968.
Ongoing Community Partnerships
Rainier Scholars
Seattle Baird is a proud partner and sponsor of Rainier Scholars; a 12-year mentoring program that offers a pathway to college graduation with guidance in leadership and career development for hard-working, low-income students of color. In recent years, Seattle Baird sponsored ten summer internships to Rainier Scholars.
Seattle Childrens Hospital
The mission statement of Seattle Children's Hospital is to "provide hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible." In 2024, Seattle Baird is supporting the mission of Seattle Children's by sponsoring Stamm Camp.
Each August, Stanley Stamm Summer Camp gives nearly 100 children with chronic medical conditions the chance to go fishing, ride horses and take part in typical summer camp activities at a week-long sleepover camp near Mount Rainier.

Congratulations Rainier Scholars - Tacoma, 2024 recipient of the Paul Purcell "Kids Win!" Annual Baird Education Grant!
Rainier Scholars cultivates the academic and leadership potential of underrepresented students of color through rigorous, transformative opportunities that increase college graduation rates and empower new generations of leaders.
This grant will fund the expansion of Rainier Scholars' programming to Tacoma, where students from fifth grade through college will receive academic enrichment experiences, leadership development and career exploration opportunities.
